AIRPORT OVERNIGHT ACTIVITY

Please be aware that the latest regular calibration of the Instrument Landing System at Birmingham is scheduled to take place overnight on Monday 24th/Tuesday 25th July.  This involves repeated approaches by the calibration aircraft to both ends of the runway between 22:00 and 01:30.

The aircraft, a Diamond DA62 is a small twin engine aircraft with a modest noise footprint, so the risk of disturbance should be low.

The operator is Flight Calibration Services Ltd, based at Shoreham in Sussex. You may find this short video explaining their work of interest.
