Do you know a young person who wants to make a real difference in their community by becoming a volunteer Youth Commissioners for Solihull? Do they have an interest in engaging with the police and senior decision makers about crime, justice and victim services? If you do please share this with them.
West Midlands Police is looking for a group of under 18s, to become the West Midlands’ next Youth Commissioners. They would also consider 18-year-olds – if they can commit to serving a two-year term.It marks the start of an election process that will determine which young people will advise the Police and Crime Commissioner on areas of concern to them and the young people they will represent. Like the Police and Crime Commissioner, the Youth Commissioners will be tasked with helping to hold West Midlands Police to account and for keeping standards high.
