HEALTHIER LIFE, HEALTHIER PLANET? MEETING, MONDAY 21ST MARCH – 7:30pm

  • Talks

For our March Speaker Evening next Monday, 21st March, we return to the Village Hall, now the coldest, darkest nights are behind us.

We have a double header of local speakers who will lead a look at where the worlds of health, food and climate change collide. Who knew tackling ‘the carbon problem’ could be good for you!

Dr Katrina Davies is a Solihull GP and a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners Climate Emergency Advisory Panel. She has developed and will be sharing insights on how changes we can make towards ‘more sustainable ways of living’ are not only vital for the planet, they can make an important contribution to good health as well.

Claire Carter is Chair of the Environment and Climate Action Group at our Parish Church and also runs an ‘eco-friendly food’ blog. She has led the team who have installed a cross with rubbish at its foot for Lent outside the Guild House. Claire will give practical insights into the overlap between eating more healthily and living sustainably. (And, no, it is not about giving up meat.)

So, do join us next Monday at 7.30pm in the Village Hall for this informative session.
