First, the good news:- Green waste collections are due to resume before the end of March. If you are lucky they’ll start next week.
However! The sad news:- there is a pay dispute between the Council’s contractors and their workers who have threatened to go on strike from the 28th March until 1st April. This would affect both roadside collections and the Bickenhill disposal site. However, a new contractor is due to take over the contract on 1st April, so who knows what will happen then!! Be prepared.
