This year’s Cenotaph Service will be held at Knowle Church on Sunday 3rd November, starting at 11:15am. The Dedication Ceremony and wreath laying will be held following this Church Service. We have been informed that it is likely that the Service on 3rd November will probably not end until around 12.10 – 12.15pm, with the wreath laying taking place shortly afterwards.
A Remembrance Parade will be held on Sunday 10th November, leaving the Knowle Royal British Legion at 10:15 prompt. As usual, there will be a road closure to allow the Parade on 10th November to take place in safety. The official notice reads:-
ROAD CLOSURE 10:00hrs to 13:00hrs – A4141 from Wychwood island past the Royal British Legion, High Street, Knowle, Kenilworth Road and Wilsons Road
However, the closure is usually only applied while the parade is actually taking place, However, better to avoid the road during the above times.
