The Council has published proposals which they say will ‘ encourage and enable more walking and cycling journeys between Solihull and Knowle.
this will involve – ‘widening the path through Brueton Park, segregating cycle lanes to separate cyclists from vehicles and introducing traffic calming measures to improve safety for all road users. Additional crossings along the route and the resurfacing of existing footways are also planned to help increase safety for pedestrians.’
The consultation will launch on Monday 21 October and run for six weeks, until Monday 2 December. The consultation material will be available on the project’s dedicated Your Voice Solihull page.
Two public drop-in session will also be held at Knowle Library on:
- Saturday 26 October, 10am – 1pm
- Tuesday 12 November, 2pm – 5pm
