Heritage Day – Saturday 13th September
10.30am – 4.00pm -The Green outside the Guild House
Come along to the launch day of our new
Heritage QR Trail – ‘A Walk Through Time’
On Heritage Day, due to the temporary closure of the Library, the Knowle Society Local History Team can be found in a gazebo outside the Guild House. Visit us during the day to find out more about our heritage along Knowle’s High Street. We will have a display about our new QR code walk, other heritage leaflets, wonderful old photographs of the High Street and we will try to answer any heritage questions or queries.
If you want a personal tour of Knowle’s High Street, book a slot on our guided High Street Heritage Walks. Book for 11am or 2pm via history@knowlesociety.org.uk. Walks last about 40 minutes and start from the Guild House. Other treats are available around the Guild House during the day.
- Explore the new QR Trail
- Visit Cobbles café in the Guild House during the morning where you can also meet
- Emily, Knowle’s Poet in residence. 10am – 12pm

- Later, Emily will be based in our Gazebo outside the Guild House : 12.30pm – 4pm
- Visit the church tower and the heritage exhibition inside the church
- Walk across to Station Road to visit the Artisan Market 11am – 5pm
