Our Freedom: Then & Now project
Come along to Heritage Day on Saturday13th September and meet Emily Holtom Knowle’s Poet in residence who had been visiting groups around the village as part of a nationwide project.
‘Celebrate 80 years since VE and VJ Day with Knowle’s poet in residence. Join Emily for an interactive poetry experience as she creates bespoke poems live, inspired by your thoughts on Freedom. Using her vintage typewriter, Emily will craft a unique piece on-the -spot just for you- a beautiful way to reflect, remember and celebrate together’.
Emily will be in Cobbles on the 13th of September 10.00am-12.00pm and then in a gazebo on the green outside the Guild House 12.30pm-4.00pm.
