The contractors are currently on schedule to open the new Solihull Road bridge on 24 June 2023 and once open, will begin work on realigning Catherine de Barnes Lane.
Work will be carried out in four phases. As they will be working on different sections of the carriageway, Catherine de Barnes Lane will be closed to through traffic from 24 June 2023 until spring 2024.
They will be “working with local residents and businesses to ensure access is maintained throughout.”
