Knowle Flower Club have a vacancy coming up beginning January 2027 for a dedicated Steward to open up the Knowle Village Hall and set up the chairs and a few tables, and sound equipment, for 11 months of the year (no August meetings) twice a month as follows:
January – mid-month only for a Speaker meeting.
February – July and September – December:
1st Thursday of the month (10am open up and put away at 4.30pm) in readiness for our Club demonstration Day (2pm -4.45pm).
and
Dates as above months, to open up for an afternoon Practice Class on the 3rd Thursday of most of these months – in November it is usually the last Thursday of November for wreath-making class.
The applicant would be shown how to set up (straightforward) speakers and microphone by the present Steward before Christmas, and the layout of chairs and a few tables. Some strength is obviously required.
The Flower Club pay cash monthly at a rate of £70 (£45 club days and £25 for Practice classes).
