The second ‘space’ on the left at the side of the Village Hall is too short to qualify as a car parking space and cars parked there have been booked. Dave Pinwell understands from the Council that the space will be ‘hatched out’ in the coming weeks and in the meantime everyone should avoid using it. Anyone who has already been booked for parking there should make an appeal against the penalty, citing the lack of any signage or other indications that it is not a legitimate space, which should be considered sympathetically.
