Knowle High Street will be CLOSED between 10.30 to 19.00 (at the latest) on June 4th for the Jubilee Celebrations. It will be opened earlier if it can be cleared. Diversions will be signposted.
If you are able to offer an hour to man the road barriers please contact Dave Pinwell at davepinwell@googlemail.com
The Markets and stalls will be running from 12.00 to 18.00 with music, multiple activities and food and drink. More details at https://www.visitknowle.co.uk/knowle-jubilee-celebrations/
The Society will have a stall near the former telephone kiosk with a photo quiz in and around Knowle with multiple vouchers for local businesses; a ‘Grand raffle’ for a Beefeater Bear and a Lucky Dip for young children. We are also open upstairs in the Library, which will be open all day, and in the Village Hall which is celebrating its Golden Jubilee. Come and say hello.
The Council have just announced that they will not be enforcing restrictions on single yellow lines from 8am on 2 June to 8am on 6 June, but it looks as if the car parks will operate as usual, so don’t get caught out, get a ticket.
