As you will know, there have been two proposals for Service Areas on the local M42 for some time The Council are due to decide on the fate of both applications on February 24th.
The Council Officers recommendations to the Planning Committee are to Approve the one at Catherine de Barnes, but Reject the one at J4 (Gate Lane) If the recommendations are followed by the Planning Committee and ratified by the National Planning Casework Unit of central government, that will remove the threat to J4.
