The Council has approved funding from the levy on local construction projects to these projects:-
1:- ‘Half basketball court on Knowle Park’. Promoted by Knowle Society, this will form the second phase of the enhancement of play facilities in the park. The court will consist of the playing area and a single net, which will be sufficient for exercise and play. It will be erected near the existing football net. See example:-

2:- ‘Jubilee Room enhancements’ at the Royal British Legion Club to improve facilities and encourage hirings which bring in money to keep the Club thriving.
