In case you are not aware, users of Knowle car parks are suddenly receiving tickets from the contracted enforcement officers for parking in electric charging bays after weeks of being informed that it is okay to do so ‘until the relevant signs go up’.
This is being pursued to establish how such an intervention or policy change has come about and why there is still no suitable signage.
Meanwhile we are advising car park users to avoid these spaces unless charging a car and, on receiving notice of a fine, to appeal immediately citing a lack of relevant signage. If you can help spread the word, please do so.
