This land lies between Langfield Rd, Longdon Rd, Newton Rd and Copt Heath Drive/Abbots Close. Many will remember that the Society spent much effort and money some years ago in an attempt to preserve it as open green space. Unfortunately we did not succeed. It is now the subject of a planning application for 20 mixed houses.

The Society’s planning committee have been in discussions with theowners of the site and have achieved some improvements to the original plans. The submitted plans will be subject to further study by the Society and the KDBH Forum. You are able to make your own comments on the page above.
