DESCRIPTION:Heritage Day – Saturday 13th September\n10.30am – 4.00pm -The Green outside the Guild House\nCome along to the launch day of our new\nHeritage QR Trail – ‘A Walk Through Time’ \nOn Heritage Day\, due to the temporary closure of the Library\, the Knowle Society Local History Team can be found in a gazebo outside the Guild House. Visit us during the day to find out more about our heritage along Knowle’s High Street. We will have a display about our new QR code walk\, other heritage leaflets\, wonderful old photographs of the High Street and we will try to answer any heritage questions or queries. \nIf you want a personal tour of Knowle’s High Street\, book a slot on our guided High Street Heritage Walks. Book for 11am or 2pm via history@knowlesociety.org.uk. Walks last about 40 minutes and start from the Guild House. Other treats are available around the Guild House during the day. \n\nExplore the new QR Trail\nVisit Cobbles café in the Guild House during the morning where you can also meet\nEmily\, Knowle’s Poet in residence. 10am – 12pm\n\n{More information about Emily’s project\, ‘Our Freedom’ can be found here} \n\nLater\, Emily will be based in our Gazebo outside the Guild House : 12.30pm – 4pm\nVisit the church tower and the heritage exhibition inside the church\nWalk across to Station Road to visit the Artisan Market 11am – 5pm\n\nWe look forward to seeing you on the 13th

SUMMARY:Green Walk\, Bridge Meadow and Copt Heath
DESCRIPTION:We will round off the walks programme for this year on Sunday 7th September.  Meet at the car park in Knowle (aka Jobs Close) park for a 2pm start. The walk is no more than 3 miles long\, will highlight two of our water assets (assuming they haven’t dried up!) \, the remains of a moat\, and the largest green space in the village – Copt Heath Golf Club! \nAll are welcome\, no stiles to cross and an easy pace.
