Booster COVID-19 vaccines are available to:
- those living in residential care homes for older adults
- all adults aged 50 years or over
- frontline health and social care workers
- people aged 16-49 who are clinically vulnerable.
Booster doses must be given at least six months on from a second dose.
There are a number of ways people can get their booster jab including:
- Waiting to be contacted by their GP for an appointment
- Booking an appointment through https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/
- Visiting a walk-in or mobile clinic: https://www.birminghamandsolihullcovidvaccine.nhs.uk/walk-in/
The NHS mobile vaccine van will be in Solihull next weekend:
Mell Square, Solihull, B91 3AY
Saturday 6 November 9am – 5:30pm
Sunday 7 November 9am – 5:30pm
These services are for those aged 16+ and those now eligible for their booster vaccine.
