Stripes Hill Marina - appeal dismissed

The appeal against the rejection of the application for this marina has been dismissed by the planning inspector. The Knowle Society was a significant contributor to the appeal hearing and argued for its dismissal.

Revised planning applications submitted by Kimberley Developments

Leighton Jones, Deputy Chairman of The Knowle Society and Chairman of its Planning Committee will now be working with his committee to study the many substantial documents included in the three planning applications submitted in connection with the proposed Waitrose store development in Knowle.

Knowle moves back into Warwickshire!

Once upon a time sporting the cachet of a 'Warwickshire' postal address, the village of Knowle has been returned to that county for one month only, in the October 2011 issue of Warwickshire Life.

The Knowle Society was quoted extensively and given a good write-up in this issue, which joins the long history of attractive articles on Knowle in glossy magazines.

Calendar launch a great success

Our launch exhibition of the new calendar was well attended, you may also spot a well-known face or two! Much of the calendar stock was sold on the first day so be quick if you want a copy too!
