The walk began at the Guild House, went through the churchyard to Kixley Lane, along Elvers Green Lane towards the ford, then across the fields to come out on Hampton Road near Grimshaw Hall. After taking mulled wine and mincepies at the canal-side car park the walk returned to Kixley Lane along the side of the Grand Union Canal.
Boxing Day Walk attracts 80
Walkers enjoyed fine weather, mulled wine and homemade mincepies. A fine day meant a good turnout for this popular walk which has become something of a tradition in Knowle.
