Large new screen for public meetings

As announced in the January 2008 newsletter, the Society has now acquired a new eight foot projection screen for use in the Village Hall for its illustrated meetings.

Illustrated presentations at Society meetings have been slightly diminished in the past by the effect of a coloured wall and lights and cables on that wall obstructing the projected image. By purchasing a large screen and using the traditional benefits of a raised stage, it is now hoped that all members and visitors will enjoy a greatly improved view at future meetings.
