Knowle War Memorial

EXHIBITION REARRANGED DUE TO THE WEATHER
NOW AT KNOWLE LIBRARY
SATURDAY 31st MARCH 10:00 – 15:00
As most of you will know, the Soldiers Chapel in Knowle Church was dedicated to the memory of the fallen of WW1.  It also remembers those who have fallen in later conflicts.  Many might not have realised that there is also a memorial in the Churchyard, alongside the path between the Church and the Guild House.  This takes the form of a stone cross, which is showing its age. A project has been launched to refurbish it and improve its surroundings in time for Nov 2018. Come along to the Guild House see the proposed refurbishment plans. We welcome your views and comments.

Saturday March 3rd  3.30pm — 5.30pm

You are invited to the Guild House on Saturday March 3rd between 3.30pm and 5.30pm to view the proposed plans, an artist’s impression and a model of the proposed refurbishment of the War Memorial located in Knowle Churchyard.

The committee representing Knowle Church, The British Legion and The Knowle Society are seeking the views and thoughts of the local community. Please come along and find out more. Refreshments available
