Christmas lights switch-on as popular as ever • Good crowds, excellent policing and lots of excited children made this annual event another highlight in the community life of Knowle. 1st Dec

Changes at the 2008 AGM • Several of the Society's long-standing Trustee Directors stood down or moved to different roles at the AGM on 24th November and two new Directors were elected. The Society also announced that it is offering a new membership category of Corporate Member. 25th Nov

Conservation Area Appraisal published (Link opens 2.5MB Appraisal document) • In 2007 The Knowle Society contributed to a Solihull Council led appraisal of the Conservation Area in Knowle. The final report has now been published. 25th Nov

Celebrations in Knowle from the 1930s to the 1960s - new DVD • Launched on Saturday 13th September - The Knowle Society's first DVD, price 8 pounds. It comprises unique black and white and early colour film of carnivals and national celebrations in Knowle taken over four decades by Mr F G Ratcliff. 12th Sep
