Events

2012 is the 50th anniversary (Golden Jubilee) of the formation of The Knowle Society and a programme of special, additional events is being put on to celebrate the occasion.

As on previous ten year anniversaries we have been able to share our celebrations with those of Her Majesty the Queen whose accession to the throne preceded the formation of the Society by ten years. We look forward to joining the community's special celebrations in the High Street on Monday 4th June.

The Knowle Society provides a full programme of talks, social events, visits, exhibitions and guided local walks.

Most events are freely open to members and non-members except the Autumn social event which is open to members and their guests only, Local History and other visits require booking and usually attract a small charge. The AGM is open to anyone however only members are entitled to vote.
