Welcome to Knowle’s biggest Christmas event – Father Christmas arrives in Knowle – Christmas lights on the tree and throughout the village are turned on – carols and (if you are lucky) perhaps a mince-pie. The event begins at 4.15 on Monday 29th November in Kenilworth Road.
We have a limited number of tickets left (one team table only as at 21 Sept.) for the Quiz Night on the 18th of October, the cost is 4 pounds and this includes a Fish and Chip Supper. Question master for the evening will be the Chairman of The Knowle Society, Peter Ewin. There will also be a raffle on the evening with prizes of M&S Vouchers. If you are interested please contact Charles Robinson on 01564 775770.
For one month only to mid-January, the Knowle Society’s exhibition in the Local History Centre is celebrating sixty years of The Revels Drama Group entertaining the village.
Please note that the newsletter incorrectly states the time of the Monday 16 November meeting ‘All the World’s a Stage’ as 8pm; it should be 2pm. The Diary also omits the 11am Boxing Day Walk.
