THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE OF THE KNOWLE SOCIETY

The Natural Environment committee (previously Nature Conservation) was formed to manage the Knowle Nature Reserve after the site was saved from development in 1971. It was expanded in 1974 to cover all aspects of nature conservation within the locality.
