Don’t forget the walk on Sunday 13 Oct. It starts from the Temple Balsall Car Park on Fen End Rd at 2pm. It’ll be 3 – 4 miles with Tea & Cakes in the medieval Old Hall at the end. Come along and bring a friend.
Volunteers from the West Midlands Police museum will be holding the next open day at the former Victorian Lock – Up on Steelhouse Lane in Birmingham on the 10 October 2019. Tickets are now on sale for the event. We are rated as one of the top attractions in Birmingham on Trip Advisor. It is well worth a visit with many activities that will entertain adults and children alike. We also have an early evening talk when a retired officer (Bill Gwilty) talks about his surprise lunch with Bill Clinton. Titled “A Lunch of a Lifetime”, Bill tells how some unexpected events led to him enjoying a very public lunch with the American President, when he attended the G7 Summit held in Birmingham between the 14th and 16th May 1998. A very entertaining talk.
